Updates and Features

OK, updates first:
First of all, I would like to apologize my lack of involvement and uploads here on dA for the last month or two (or more?). I made a new years resolution to "accept" my art and one way I planned on doing that is by submitting more stuff, whether I think its crappy or not. But the thing is, I have a super short attention span so I have to have several projects going on at once, so I feel like its taking me forever to finish stuff, but I promise to finish them for my awesome followers and friends that still haven't abandoned me, even though they all should have looooonnng ago, like when I fell off of the face of the planet. I also plan on making more Christian themed artwork, because I know my gift was given to me to honor and glorify God, but I'm not exactly doing that, so thats also gonna change. I just finished midterms so I might have more time for that, even though that shouldn't be an excuse for not doing it.
Also, I'm going to make surprise gift arts for my friends mostly because I feel bad and because you guys are just awesome!!!!! Ok, feature time.....

Hey guys!!! I know that I've been dead for a while, but I'm trying to get back on track. I'm still doing the Sketch A Day thing, but I don't want to upload all of the sketches I'm behind on, so I'll probably just do a weekly sketch dump.
Anyhoo, I m thinking about doing an art trade(s), depending if anyone actually likes my art enough to ask.
On another note, I have officially started my brand spankin new story that is currently untitled!!! It's gunna be super awesome (at least I hope it will be) with themes like redemption and destiny set in a medieval era with a BA female main character!! Yeah!!

Inspiration- PLEASE READ

So when I was a wee lass, I was obsessed with horses/ponies. I had about a million stuffed animal horses, all of the My Little Ponies (I was a brony before it was cool ), and had a library's worth of horse books. Then, one day, I decided to draw them in my favorite pink crayon. No matter what/how/how many I drew, it never came out the way it was supposed to. I became horribly upset, and wanted ever so badly to just give up. BUT, here comes along my father (where I get my artistic ability). He has 2 things for me: a binder/notebook, and a book. In the notebook, there were 100 counted pages of copy paper. But what's in the book? It was one of those "how to draw" books, but this one was on horses. So, he gave these to me and said,"Draw. Draw until you like it, even if it's not perfect. Draw it 100 times, BUT DON'T YOU EVER EVER GIVE UP." For everyday after that, he would take his own sheet of paper and draw with me. The next year, we moved, and that notebook was lost, but the words that he said to me will never be taken away.

I've been feeling really bad about my drawings, but I learned a couple things that I would like to share with you.
1) NEVER GIVE UP
2) Draw it over and over again, practice makes perfect
3) Have someone to support you and help to grow as an artist (like my father). If you don't have anyone, just send me a note, and I would love to help 
And yes, I know that I'm not this big hot-shot artist and you may think that this advice isn't that well developed, but sometimes it helps to hear from someone going through the same thing. I hope this pep talk was helpful God bless!
